The Amon Hotel is one of the oldest hotels on the west bank. It is a cozy, family-run complex with 17 rooms, located in the village of El Beirat. The numerous attractions of Thebes West are only a few minutes away, while the center of Luxor on the east bank can be reached in about ten minutes by water taxi. Shopping facilities are available in various mini-markets in the village, where there is also an ATM.

The hotel is located just 500 meters from the banks of the Nile and has a pool with loungers as well as an in-house restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (including local beer and, on request, local wine). The predominantly Arabic food is served in the dining room or in the large, tropical-style garden. The hotel's cordial staff, who lovingly look after the guests' well-being, deserve special mention. Wifi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

The rooms of the Amon Hotel are spread over three buildings with two rooms per floor. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan, a fridge, an electric kettle, a small balcony with a view of the garden and a private bathroom with shower/WC. The double rooms are approx. 28 m² in size and have a double bed or twin beds. The triple rooms have three single beds and are approx. 30 m² in size, while the 32 m² family rooms have a double bed and two single beds. The roof terraces of the three buildings offer comfortable seating with panoramic views of the village, the cultivated fields and the adjacent desert. The hotel is also happy to serve drinks and snacks there.
