The hotel at a glance

The Anakato Kiki is a family-run hotel with 15 accommodations in the style of a Nubian village, located about five kilometers south of Aswan, directly on the western bank of the Nile. The location on a granite outcrop is ingenious and offers a magnificent view of the Nile cataract. The center of Aswan can be reached by boat or by land. The playful and colorful accommodations and facilities, with great attention to detail, give the hotel a unique character and authenticity. The Anakato Kiki has a restaurant and bar where delicious and varied regional food is served, always prepared from fresh local ingredients. The property has several lovely seating areas to chill out in, including some with great river views. It even has its own stretch of beach on the shore. You are welcome to have your food or drink served at the table of your choice.

The Anakato Kiki offers a whole range of activities, such as river trips, kayak rental, hikes to traditional Nubian villages, cooking classes for Nubian dishes or fishing trips. Occasionally, folklore evenings with Nubian music and dances are organized. Massages and wellness programs, such as sand or mud treatments, are also offered. The particularly courteous and hospitable staff at the hotel, who are always eager to fulfill guests' every wish, deserve special mention. Wifi is available free of charge in the public areas of the hotel.

The rooms

The rooms at Anakato Kiki are relatively simple, but authentically furnished with great attention to detail. Decorated in traditional Nubian style, the rooms feature a unique ambience. Three accommodation categories are available: The Nile Chalets are located in the immediate vicinity of the banks of the Nile and all have river views. They are approximately 50 m² in size and have a sleeping and living area as well as a terrace with an unrestricted view of the Nile. The Valley Suites are slightly larger at 60 m². They also have a sleeping and living area, but offer a view of the farmland and the adjacent desert. The Nojoom rooms (star rooms) are approx. 30 m² in size and also offer a view of the farmland and a (partial) river view from the back of the room. All rooms air-conditioned (heating in winter) and have a private bathroom with shower/WC, a mini-fridge and an electric kettle for preparing tea or coffee. The beds can be configured as double beds or twin beds. The Nile Chalets are also furnished with a sofa bed.

We offer the accommodation in Aswan in combination with a cultural tour (incl. Luxor with solar eclipse). Rooms without a tour, subject to availability, on request.
