The Eskaleh Nubian Ecolodge is located around two kilometers from the famous temple complex of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari, which can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes. Abu Simbel airport is around one and a half kilometers away. The family-run, Nubian-style hotel impresses with its great location in the immediate vicinity of Lake Nasser. With only 15 accommodations and an authentic Nubian ambience, the hotel is an oasis of tranquillity, perfect for visitors who want to visit the temple complex during off-peak hours. The lodge has its own boat, which offers excursions on the lake, for example at sunrise with a magnificent view of the temple complex.

The Eskaleh Nubian Ecolodge has a restaurant that serves mainly Nubian and Arabic dishes. The fresh ingredients are sourced locally and from the hotel's own vegetable garden. The delicious freshly caught fish comes from Lake Nasser. The terrace with its magnificent view of Lake Nasser is definitely a highlight. Local alcoholic drinks (beer and wine) are also served. Sometimes the restaurant also welcomes large groups from Aswan at lunchtime. In the evening, Nubian musicians occasionally play live music. Wifi is available free of charge in the public areas.

The 15 rooms in the Eskaleh Nubian Ecolodge are simply furnished and all have air-conditioning and a private bathroom with shower/WC. All rooms also have a small seating area and a balcony or terrace. The standard rooms are approx. 26 m² in size and face the town. The superior and deluxe rooms, which face the lake, are considerably larger. The furnishings of all rooms are very similar, although the Deluxe rooms also have a mini-fridge.
