The Eco-Diving Village Marsa Nakari is located approx. 80 km south of Marsa Alam Airport between the desert and the Red Sea. With only 65 accommodations, it is a tranquil diving resort. A special feature of Marsa Nakari is the magnificent house reef, where non-limit diving is possible. Around 30 minutes by boat from Marsa Nakari is another top diving spot, the Dolphin House. As the name suggests, numerous dolphins feel at home there and can be seen regularly.

Marsa Nakari Village consists of a beautiful, open restaurant overlooking the sea, flexible accommodation options and a top diving center run by Red Sea Diving Safari, the pioneers of diving in the Red Sea. You can enjoy every diving-free minute on the beach under the Egyptian sun or explore the desert by camel, horse, or quad bike. A massage tent on the beach offers relaxation for tense muscles. A shady and always popular spot is the cafeteria on the beach, which invites you to socialize with fellow divers.

The tents are reminiscent of the early days of Red Sea Diving Safari. They are still the simplest and most original accommodation option and are located in the heart of the resort, just 100 meters from the sea. The 20 tents measure 4 x 4 meters and are spacious enough that you can easily stand upright. The facilities include two single beds, a shelf and electric light. The bathroom, with shower/WC, is shared with other guests in the communal sanitary facilities. You can borrow shower towels free of charge from reception.
The 19 Royal Tents are particularly popular accommodations in Marsa Nakari Village. They are in a prime beach location, just a few meters from the sea. They measure 5 x 5 meters and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, electric light, a shelf, and a fan. Comfortable beanbags with a small table, a minibar, and a tent curtain with a view of the sea almost create the feeling of a private Bedouin lounge. Shared sanitary facilities are also used for accommodation in the Royal tents.

The Deluxe Chalets are located at the rear of Marsa Nakari Village. There is a small, private terrace both in front and behind the chalets. Enjoy either a breathtaking view of the mountains or the Red Sea. The Marsa Nakari Village has a total of 26 deluxe chalets measuring 8 x 5 meters. All rooms are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, air-conditioning, TV, room safe, minibar, a kettle for coffee or tea, a closet, a small dressing table and a private bathroom with shower/WC and large shower towels. The traditional domed roof keeps the chalets pleasantly cool. From the terrace, which is surrounded by fragrant Mediterranean flowers, you have a view of almost the entire Eco-Diving Village.

The superior tents were completed towards the end of 2024 and are the newest accommodation category at Marsa Nakari Village. They are in a prime beach location and offer a wonderful view of the sunrise from the terrace. The superior tents are 5 x 7 meters in size and have a private bathroom with shower/WC, a fan, a minibar, a dressing table and a closet. The floor is covered with parquet and the tents are available with two single beds or one double bed.

*On the day of the solar eclipse, the ship anchors along the central line of totality southeast of Berenice, where you can take a dive during the twilight phase or the total phase of the eclipse. Accommodation on board the boat is in simple cabins or on the sun deck under the sky (sleeping bag not included).
The minimum number of participants for the mini liveaboard is 6.

4. Solar eclipse in our "Eclipse Desert Camp" directly at the spot of the maximum of the eclipse's totality, about 60 kilometers to the southeast of Luxor, in the middle of the desert. The duration of the totality there is 6 minutes & 23 seconds, the longest total phase of the solar eclipse on August 2nd, 2027.
